It's bad enough we might be dependent on coal with the power plant.

In Nigeria, there are people who tap into gasoline pipelines. Sometimes, there's a spark and people die.

Imagine getting your gas shutoff and in desperation, you are determined to get that gas no matter what you do to your meter--or your pipe.

We have the big LNG tank located just off Bridge St. The authorities have a contingency plan for it in normal times. These are not normal. Forgot to mention also the big Pickering tank farm and terminal next to the power plant.

Take care.David Moisanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15246027784687332011noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6830110581332031974.post-18366741072549979992007-05-22T20:14:00.000-04:002007-05-22T20:14:00.000-04:00Sounds like your town is quite similar to mine. Most people aren't in walking distance from a grocery store or market. Or any store for that matter. So we have the mega-stores on the far outskirts of town and a mall that is a 20 minute drive away. Maybe we'll start to see a turnaround and the mom and pop stores will rise again?Illiana Speedsterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00348845023815291559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6830110581332031974.post-36557413859221652282007-05-19T14:20:00.000-04:002007-05-19T14:20:00.000-04:00I see opportunities here. A terminal secures the supply of natural gas.Bengerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13560394110975585371noreply@blogger.com
